I've been inspired {or shamed} into posting again to what was supposed to be my most "regular" blog (I have many languishing in the blogosphere) by the blogging genius Jenny Lawson aka The Bloggess. This is the post I'm referring to in which she admits her funk and still manages to post something awesome. I was going to comment on the post when I was confronted with the fields where you enter your name, email address and website. Although I have my own domain it is strictly a product feed from Zazzle. In my previous comment made on her blog in order to enter a contest to win her book I entered my Zazzle store url and it pulled my most recent post: an humble fridge magnet with a photo of a Hellebore bloom. So spammy! My next thought was to post MY blog address as most people do but wait... I haven't made a post in 2 months (how lame). In my defense the Love of All Things Visual ~and entertaining~ is what prevents me from being proactive enough to post in a blog... or stay focused on my Zazzle store.. or much else for that matter. Case in point: Pinterest, followed by YouTube and Twitter, etc. Distraction seems to be the rule rather than the exception lately in my "free" time spent in my little corner of the world. I'm running out of time so I'll get to Shameless Self Promotion portion of this post with the new electronic device skins available in my store (all few of them thus far).Zazzle Skins by littlewingdesign. And now I can proudly a link to my blog again... kinda sorta.

Time for Sleeves

This has been a gorgeous autumn in my neck of the woods this year and although we still have some more mild weather on the horizon it is indeed time for sleeves {shirt sleeves of course!} It's also time for another kind of sleeve in my shop: the new neoprene laptop computer sleeves that are now available. I am slowly getting designs on these up for sale but am super excited about them. And lots more where these came from....just click on the ~ other products you might like ~ link on these product pages since I don't find a landing page yet for the product type on Zazzle.

2012 Calendars

It's time to be thinking about calendars again and I have a few to share today. Calendars are what started me in the POD business and yet they're not really my strong point... but I have some friends with a nice variety of calendars for your viewing pleasure!

This calendar of wildflowers of the Carolinas is perfect for nature lovers!

If you love wildlife and animals then this is a great calendar for you.

This art calendar is quite unique in that these images have only recently been available for reprint. I think it's fabulous!

Who doesn't love flowers? If Spring is your favorite time of the year then enjoy it all year long with this gorgeous calendar!

This calendar is perfect for the orchid addict, um... collector.

Equestrians take a look at this wonderful calendar of the often overshadowed Draft horse.

All in all a great collection but I'll add a couple of mine to the mix. One for daylily lovers:

This calendar is of daisies: mums, asters & helianthus but mostly single flowerd mums.

In the beginning there was...

... a love of interior design. It was the early 90's and treasures could still be found in consignment shops and flea markets for a pittance. The internet was not available to me yet and I collected magazines and books like an addict. I was living in a very cramped apartment and dreaming of the day that I would have a house of my own to furnish and decorate.

My focus shifted to fashion after the the new home was a reality and my creativity eventually became channeled into gardening. My most recent focus has been the world of digital design and Print on Demand (POD) that enables me to create products to sell on the web. I enjoy the vast world of art and design available at Zazzle.com and created this blog to share my favorites and my own creations as well. For now I am most comfortable with focusing on the art and designs rather than the artists. I won't be notifying Zazzlers that they're products have been featured since that would be very time consuming. This is an extracurricular venture for me and I have to be careful not to let it take over my life. I hope it will suffice to give credit to the artist with a link to their store.

My first product feature from my own store combines two personal loves: butterflies and music. These Personalized Butterfly Doodle Speakers feature an open winged Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterfly and template for your name. Plug it into your iPod, MP3 player, tablet, notebook computer or smart phone to listen to digital music files on the fly without having to use earbuds.

Speaking of iPods... here's a cool Speck case for the iPod Touch with an abstract purple design that seems fitting for a musical device.

This awesome artist caught my eye on the LabZ storefront yesterday. I love it!
